Excited that a new post of mine is now up at Literary Rambles! It’s all about my thoughts as a mid-lister, and what that means to an on-going career as a writer of children’s books. There’s also a book give-away included. So enter now, before January 21 st!

Check it out at: LITERARY RAMBLES.

Enjoy!

Recently, I had a fun time with questions asked by Deborah Kalb for her website. Check it out for some insight into the new book WILLIAM AND THE WITCH’S RIDDLE and into the way I write.

MAZZA Museum Summer Conference & Writing Strand

MAZZA Museum Summer Conference & Writing Strand
Mazza
I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be co-teaching the writing strand at the MAZZA Museum Summer Conference this year. FYI:  the Mazza Museum is the largest museum of original artwork by children’s book illustrators in the world. The museum’s goal is to promote literacy and enrich the lives of all people through the art of children’s literature. And it’s in Findlay, Ohio.

This year’s artist line-up—Wonderful!

I’d love to see a lot of writers there, as well. We writers learn so much from how illustrators envision and execute the art of picture books. The link for the conference:  MAZZA Museum Summer Conference, 2015
See you this summer!
