Austin bound this weekend to meet up with friends, get introduced to the lovely and talented Patrice Barton, and to do a program for writers in the Austin area. Patrice will also be getting her Crystal Kite award for illustrating MINE! (Oh, those darling babies!!!) Rarely do I get to meet  one of the illustrators of a book I’ve written. And this weekend, I not only get to meet her but we will also read together at a Friday night reception, and present together on Saturday. How cool is that?  I hope to have pics to post afterward.  Stay tuned.

Yeeee-haw!
